Our multidisciplinary team brings together expertise in plant science, agricultural economics, forestry, research management, and policy working together to deliver credible, impactful agricultural solutions across Kenya.

Mary Kinyua

Professor of plant breeding and biotechnology. Founder and CEO of KGAC. Chair of Technical Experts on Strategic Value Chains at ASNET. Guides both technical work and day-to-day operations.

Dr. Shadrack Kinyua Inoti

Environmental and forestry expert with over 30 years of experience. PhD in Forestry from Sokoine University. Published author of 28+ papers on forest ecology, agroforestry, and climate change.

Dr.Dennis Otieno

Agricultural economist with 15+ years in research, teaching, and policy analysis. PhD from Moi University. Has contributed to major projects funded by USAID, FAO, and WFP.

Paul Gamba

Lecturer at Egerton University specialising in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development Policy. Formerly Senior Research Fellow at Tegemeo Institute. Advises on national and international agricultural policies.

Dr. Francis Mwaura

PhD in Agricultural Economics with 20+ years of experience in research, policy reviews, and development advisory across agriculture, energy, water, and education sectors.

James Muriithi

Seasoned researcher with 15+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research across FMCG, energy, finance, and social studies. Has managed multi-country projects across East Africa.

James Kimathi

Deputy to the CEO overseeing administrative operations. Applies Geomatic Engineering skills to conduct spatial analysis of production sites and consumer survey locations.

Joy Muriithi

Experienced project manager with 10+ years delivering agri-infrastructure and development projects across Kenya. Background in civil engineering from JKUAT. Board member at Karumo TVET.

Carolyne Khalayi

Responsible for data management, financial accounting, and client communications. Oversees the company's technological operations ensuring seamless data handling and accurate financial reporting.

Ruth Nzioki

Marketing strategist with 13+ years of experience. MBA in Strategic Management. Leads KGAC's Marketing division specialising in brand development, market positioning, and strategic communication.

Mark Nzioki

Risk management professional with 10+ years of experience developing and executing risk and insurance strategies. Oversees risk assessment, insurance structuring, and compliance at KGAC, ensuring protection of assets and operations.

Nelson Kimei

Extensive experience in field experiment setup, trial execution, data collection, and report writing. Manages product trials across various locations ensuring accurate documentation.

Zaphaniah Okari

Handles herbicide data collection on crops including wheat, beans, and barley. Skilled in setting up experiments, analysing results, and producing clear, reliable research reports.
